The Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) awarded re-accreditation status to our agency in July 2009. CALEA has established standards designed to prevent and control crime, increase agency effectiveness and efficiency, increase cooperation and coordination with other agencies, and to increase citizen and employee confidence in the goals, objectives, policies and practices of the agency. CALEA assessors monitor the level of compliance of the Goffstown Police Department every 3 years.

Communication Supervisor Michelle Provencher is the department's accreditation manager and an assessor for NNEPAC.
